Copper Water Cups

Storing water in copper vessels has been practised for thousands of years. Today, copper is known for its antimicrobial properties, and storing water in a copper vessel may help reduce certain bacteria and microorganisms. Copper is also an essential mineral that plays a role in iron metabolism and other important functions in the body.

How to Use

Before bed, fill your copper cup with water and allow it to sit for 6–8 hours. This gives the water time to come into contact with the copper.

For best results, we recommend using filtered or purified water. A copper bottle is not intended to remove chlorine or other contaminants from tap water.

Water only: Do not use your copper bottle for acidic beverages such as lemon water, juice, or other acidic drinks. Acidic liquids can increase copper leaching into the liquid.

Natural Patina

Copper naturally darkens and develops a unique finish over time. This is called a patina and is a normal characteristic of copper.

Want to bring back its original shine? Gently clean the exterior with lemon and salt, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
